Hi. We've just brought our Euro home. This is our first motor home so we are definitely rookies! If anyone could advise us where we might be able to get our hands on an owners manual, operating instructions, etc. it would be greatly appreciated. Also can someone tell us where to find the tag ID #. Thanks in advance for the help!! Don & Rhonda

Don and Rhonda,

I hate to be the one to break the news to you, but RVs are not going to have an owner's manual like a cars. Some Barths did have a box of separate manuals for the items in the rig, but things like what does this button switch, where does that know go are pretty much trial and error. You can often Google your appliance manufacturers and get those manuals or on line advice. Fortunately, on Barthmobile you can get great, expert advice for free. There is nothing run off magic, it's all physics and there is absolutely nothing you will run into that hasn't been overcome by someone here.

Welcome to the Forums!

The ID tag is usually behind the driver's side window. Usually.

Thank you Barry & Rusty!!! You all could be in big trouble...we may have lots of questions! As long as long as it's ok to post them, we'd truly appreciate the help. I did find the tag, but is the data tag number the one that follows the MFG By?

Thanks, Don & Rhonda

Welcome, I had to check the driveway to make sure our coach was still there! We've had ours for about 9 years now and I've worked on pretty much everything so I know quite a bit and like most everyone here I like sharing knowledge when I can. My Coach # is s2355-28FP3. It's found after Mfd by Barth at the top of the tag. If you can get a clear pic of the tag you can post it or send it to Bill NY for our records.
We have quite rare Coaches even for Barths. I don't think more than 6 or 8 have been documented here. We'd look good side by side at a GTG.
Looking forward to seeing more pix and answering any questions I can help you out with.

You might take Doorman's offer. He could help you with starting the generator, furnace, A/C etc, that might be more helpful than a manual. Otherwise there is the GettoGether GTG in Milford IN in June. Welcome and happy camping Smiler

Dan: Yep I found the Tag #...S2788-26FPO-B...whoo hoo! Got as clear of a pic as I can get of the Tag so I'll attempt to post it. Thanks. We are going to try to go to the Milford event in June. There's really nothing so far mechanically that looks like it'd prevent us from attending. Didn't realize there weren't that many Euros out there; we came by this one thru one of our long time plumbing customers.

Doorman: You are correct bout the beavers. We would love to take you up on the offer. Please let us know how to contact you.

Thanks to all of you for the posts!!! Hope to be on the road soon! Don & Rhonda

Interesting data tag #. Way higher than mine in sequence. I've been told the s means it was a show model, supposedly so the fabricators would take extra care to get everything right. Not sure how accurate that is but it's cool. The 26 is a first as far as I know, and the Floor Plan O-B is a stranger too. Now that I see it's a 26 with a forward door it's not exactly a twin to ours, but it sure is a cousin.

Looks like you got this from Mike and Mary in Kettering.

You might not find a Barth manual, but you can find the GM manuals for the P30 Chassis and the electrical wiring on that chassis.
