Hey does anyone know what is under the vinyl where it is padded? I don't want to pull it loose if I don't have to. Everything I have taken apart has been directly adhered to the under lying materiel. I am redoing by the front TV and want to pad the vinyl like the original padded. It's just foam padding. I spray glued it on, Then stapled the vinyl over it. 1978 Barth 17' Cabin Fever 1997 Barth 23' 4 door Command Center | |||

I'm assuming you're talking about the ceiling vinyl? I did a writeup on my vinyl when I mounted a radio antenna.

Bill, Again you are the man. In my rig the ceiling, the dash, the area around the forward cabinets are all padded like that. Your pictures give me exactly what I needed to get the foam to redo the spot I'm working on. Without tearing apart to see whats under. I cannibalized the piece of wood covered with vinyl that was supposed to go in the skylight and replaced that with a piece of 1 inch foam insulation I plan on covering with either fabric or contact paper.
