Good thing it didn't happen on the road at speed.

Those things can whip around and really wreck things.

I am so thankful to God, that this happen in my driveway.
An expert on these coaches told me at highway speeds the vibration is a real heart stopper. Plus they have been known to tear out a brakeline, ouch!
If going down a good hill and this would happen, no brakes and no engine to hold you back....don't even want to think about it.
I would guess that is why they have front and rear master brake cylinders.

Hope the replacement part arrives soon.

Great news! The replacement part has arrived.
Yesterday I soaked/cleaned the bolts in oil and then went under the Barth to see what I had to do to raise the right rear wheels off the ground.

I placed the hydraulic jack on a solid concrete block and positioned it so it would lift the swing arm on the independent suspension. I placed an oak piece of wood between the jack top and the arm. Pumped it up and raised the wheel about an inch.

Today I crawled under and attached the wheel side with some difficulties (my arm got tried of holding it up and trying to screw the bolts in).
Now for the differential side (this was hard) as I had to turn the wheels to get it aligned and at the same time align the u-joints on both ends. After about ten trys it finally went together.

Tomorrow a test drive and I don't think I'll have any problems. Glad this is finished.
