I just purchased the Barth from Milan Ohio. It made the trip to Texas in great shape. Now I need to find a good service technician in the Houston area. Please forward recommendations.

1996-1997 Demontrond Buick on the North Freeway was a Barth Factory Authorized repair facility.
ADD: "North Freeway" is I-45 for non-native Houstonians and Yankees. And that was 10 years ago, so Mr. DeMontrond Jr. may have gone on to his reward taking his Buick/RV dealership with him.

The Barth I just purchased was built in 1987 and sold to the first owner on 12/27/1987 at Barth of Texas location. The paper work says the coach number is 3394. The chassis # is 1GBKP37J8H3307689. I hope to refurbish it to as near new condition as possible- that is my goal. The first owner kept the coach for 17 years, selling it in 2003 to the second owner. Owner #2 drove the coach about 4329 miles, 1st owner drove 156170 miles. The coach has been over the road and well maintained. I drove the Barth from Milan, Ohio to League City, Texas last weekend and am now trying to get good follow up PM and an over all look at condition. The motor was replaced at mileage 91610 and appears to be operating fine.

"bought 12/27/1987 at Barth of Texas location..."
Trivia: Barth of Texas was a Waco (the Texas town, not the airplane) dealer; I bought my first Barth there, and he sold nationwide primarily due to his good reputation and his presence at rallies.

Landyachtcliff: I am in Nassau Bay, on the right side of the lake, and I looked at most the dealers and repair places and was not impressed. I keep my 1993 Regency in my backyard where I can work on it and learn about it. Over the last year I have done about everything one can do to search out minor problems before they get to be major. If you need some help or have questions you can send me an e-mail with your number and I will call and then we can meet up.
E-mail is knitho@comcast.net
