Top of the day to you!

1985 Barth. not sure what size, I think it is close to a 30 foot. It is silver with a maroon stripe, from memory.

Brand new 454 (engine has less than 1500 miles on it.) paired with a th400 transmission. only thing it's missing is the canvas and needs pressure washing, sitting in the forest for years with algae starting to proliferate. It just needs to be detailed. mechanically this vehicle is sound, I would drive it across the country right now. What would be a reasonable price for something like this? Beautifully appointed rig!

Any information that can be interpolated from the above information would be appreciated. A friend of mine offered to sell this rig to me for cheap and I have a scheme turning profit hoping the thing is worth around $15k.

Thanks!
Something old something new.

Welcome to the forums!

The value of any Barth (or any older RV, for that matter) depends on its condition and the perception of a potential buyer.

As far as considering a vintage RV as an investment, "fuggeddaboudit", even though Barths are about as robust a coach as there is.

This one has the downside of having sat for years, meaning that accessories have deteriorated due to not being used. $15K is quite unlikely unless the coach were completely refurbished (and completely restored Barths have commanded less).
