Duane88River level
Well, Checked the forecast of the Mississippi river level for this next week!! Seems Dana has finally emptied his reserve of snow to flood me!! Expected river level is a drop over 4 foot in 7 days, taking it to the 5 foot level in pool 13!! Has not been that low in 3 years. The Bass will be easier to find and to catch!!! Thank you DANA and MINNESNOWTA!!!

ccctimtationDown here on both the ILLINOIS and Mississippi Rivers you can fill the boat just pulling a net behind you about a foot out of the water.

Those Asian Carp are a real pain, they have certainly taken over a lot of habitat and native fish food. We have them also but not to that extent, some places on the Illinois river before lake Michigan they have installed electric fences to keep them out. There is some debate as to the effectiveness of that device.
