Found a 1981 Barth Regency 36' while working in Idaho.Had never heard of Barth before and certianly had no idea of the following of Barth owners I've found here. Great site for a great coach. Anyone else have a 1981? Was it one of the apparently few with a fiberglass skin ? Hope to be more involved after reading through the site further.

Welcome to the site. Would you happen to have a picture or two to post. I am having a hard time figuring out what you mean. Do you happen to have the data tag info?

t should look something like this

We are looking for the top line info.

Bill, I suspect he has one of the MCC coaches; IIRC, the year would be just about right. Great riding and handling.

LOL. FWIW, that is the tab from our Barth, and the "bullet holes" are mounting screw holes.

Yeah, probably an MCC. A search of this site will yield a lot of info. I think the Barth CD has the Jan 82 test article on the MCC.

Ditto on the handling. I had the ride of my life in an FMC around Riverside Raceway or Willow Springs in one. I was not prepared to believe what was happening.

Yeah, I meant "FMC", not "MCC"...

Bill/Rusty,
Thanks for the reply to my post. Will post pics and ID tag data when I return to Idaho after Thanksgiving. The first pic on page 14 of the galleries section shows the same coach I have. The label on the pic states 1981 MCC Regency but I'll have to check further into the scant data I received with the coach. You are correct about the way it rides and drives. I was really surprised. No top heavy swaying that I've experienced with other RV's, good cornering and braking also. The pic in the gallery shows two roof mounted AC units, mine are basement mounted units w/heat exchangers and blowers inside the living quarters. Really looking forward to doing some restoration/repair work on this coach. The exterior is somewhat rough and the mechanicals need attention. Fortunately, the price was right so that leaves me some cash for repairs. Hope this post goes to the right place, have been having more trouble w/my computer than w/my coach !
