I get what they mean about but does it mean than anything prior to a certain date is lost forever..or..is it some individual account that is not active anymore? too bad if photos are lost..

This is why we encourage users to use the albeit irritating Barthmobile PhotoBucket process...

Alternative or private accounts often lose their links after a while and we lose the photos. In the interest of the archive quality we are better off with Bill NY's PB site.
