I just discovered this great site and I live about 100 miles from Milford. I don't have a Barth yet but I recently restored a 1954 aluminum Feathercraft speedboat. I love aluminum !!

Welcome kokoken. I too am Barthless. This is a great place to learn about the breed so you can make a good decision when one comes along.

Bones, yes, we are now facebook buddies. Keep in touch. I just talked to the owner of the 21 footer in Lima. It sounds pretty rough to me and 1974 seems awfully old. 21 feet seems kind small too. He is sending me more pics tomorrow. It is fun getting to know these Barths and the people that own them.

Either a big coincidence or you may have seen my post on the Feathercraft site about Barthmobile. I just picked up a 1955 Deluxe Runabout Feathercraft and mentioned Barthmobile on that site as the aluminum connection is a real bond. I also own a Barth.

Anyway, welcome fellow Rivethead!

Not that I am an expert, but feel free to suck the Feathercraft section of my brain dry. I would suggest you become a member of AOMCI and contact local members for old outboard motor help.

All the AOMCI people are top notch.

KoKoKen, what is the secret to get the owner of the 21' Barth to call you back, I certainly have not had any luck.
