Bruce & KathleenBeen gone for a bit and trying to catch up. Still dealing with my generator problem

I have been selling electrical tape for over 35 years. Best tape is the Plymouth 4472 if you can find it. It is an all weather tape that holds up well.
88 is a 3-M tape. The best 3-M for the electrical field is 33+ (now called Super 33+). Most contractors won't buy it for their men because of the cost. They like the 69 cent stuff because their guys take it home. But they all know that if you have to use a quality tape for an application, 33+ is the way to go.

Tom & LoraineI'll attest to that, I've been doing electrical work for 30 years and there is know better tape than Scotch 33+. A good electrican will use nothing but Scotch 33+ and throw the cheap stuff away. I'll keep a roll in all my vehicles it works great for securing loose material you might be hauling a couple wraps and you good to go.
Works great for holding a bandaid on you finger, haha used that a lot.

Kirk & EliseI agree with the quality of 33+ and keep a roll at all times in my (electric stuff) toolbox. I also keep some of the cheap stuff on hand for temporary things like romex to fishtape, etc.
Got to get some of that stuff BillNY recommends.

bill hI keep a roll of 33 in each vehicle, in the house, barn, almost everywhere, including the mailbox.
I tape it shut when we are gone so the mail person knows for sure.
I also hike, fish and hunt with it, as it can close a wound, wrap a sprain or make a splint (if you can find a stick).
ZORO has it for $3.99 per 66 ft roll, with free shipping.

Straight for the folks at Scotch. A comparison of all their electrical tape. Looks like the 88 is stronger and thicker with a smidgen less adhesion. For some reason it is easier to find around here but I was able to find both with only minor price differences. Unless you buy it at the parts store for $7.89 cents a roll. WOW
Sure not the 8 rolls for 99 cents I used to buy!
