Has anyone been truned away from a Campground because there Barth was over 10 years old?
I saw this on the Motorhome Magazine forum. They thought if you had a 75 Prevost or a Barth it would not happen. But rules are rules.

Not if it looks decent. We have a 1968 MCI bus conversion and in 2004 we stopped at a high quality park in Mesa with a 10 year rule. After they took one look they let us stay. The next year the same thing at the same place.....they even send us christmas cards each year. Big Grin

I belong to another camp group and we are having a rally in Oregon next May.The wagonmaster asked that questionand they said with a rally it would be fine then I called them for a weekend trip there and they said no I wouldn't stay there. I have a classic 1975 class C Barth.

I think that 10-year rule is mostly to keep out the rusty rattletraps. As long as you have a decently-maintained coach of any make, you should be okay. But of course it never hurts to call ahead and make sure.

I agree with Scotty - but it surely seems to be a snotty approach to wooing customers.
