Looks like those of us in Florida dodged this one. Lenny probably got the worst of it, being southernmost. Haven't heard from him yet but he was going to prepare or leave, so I'm sure he's OK. We got a couple inches of rain and maybe 25 mph winds, so no damage here at all. I'm sure there will be some beach erosion as it moves up the coast.
Hope it fizzles before it hits New Orleans or that area. Stay safe Billy T and others in the path.

Glad to hear you guys are OK. Perhaps the only advantage to live this far north... no hurricanes and oh yeah, no cockroaches!

Hope everyone else is good too. Weather has been good here, I'm working on Barth and other projects.

I came down US 441 from my place in GA (~40 miles W of Nick's) today, and ran into less sloppy weather than I expected. Got about 10 minutes of heavy rain in mid-GA and nuisance sprinkles most of the rest of the way.

The river had dropped substantially - I can move the Barth to the RV pad tomorrow. It will have spent a week up the driveway.

Danny,

Yes! we were very blest not to have any serious weather issues here in Florida.
About all we did get here in Port Charlotte was about three days of rain with no sun and a lot of dark grey clouds.
I was worried about my daughter in Pensacola, however yesterday she called and stated they had about three days of strong rain but in her area everything was ok.
I told her if Isaac would have been about fifty miles closer to her she would have needed a boat.

I talked this morning to a man who's rebuilt my brake actuator; he's about 15 miles west of BillyT,and he said they had few problems out there.
