Hi! I'm new to the world of Barth - but have fallen in love with this 1973 19' Barth listed not too far from my house. I haven't owned a motorhome before, and am hoping for a project that is primarily interior work. Can you guys fill me in on if this looks to be a good buy? I've also heard some of the older windshields are impossible to replace? Is this one of those?
Any help or insight is greatly appreciated. I want to bring this home and start working, but don't want to make a mistake Smiler
Thanks - Nat

This looks like one with the smaller, extinct windshields. Other than that it is probably a worthy project. Gotta love the old "bustle" style back end. Thumbs Up

It would be great to find some more of those windshields. A woman in Colorado had 2 new in the crate, she sold them to a guy in California a year or so back. Those were the last new ones anybody knows of.

As an alternative you could DIY your windshields so that there would be a post at each/either corner where the bend is giving you a straight front flat windshield and a smaller side window!

The left photo takes the standard single piece curved windshield and makes them each into two pieces.
