Ease the weight? I would say it's always a good idea to keep the RV as level as possible. Propane refrigerators need to be fairly level to work properly, not to mention that it's just more comfortable to walk around the RV without leaning to one side for balance!

I think the measure should be how long your system holds air pressure, jacks should be down anytime the airbags might lose pressure, that could be a day or three.
