There was discussion on another thread about storm damage, etc and glass replacement. My local glass shop is not able to locate the glass. I want to replace them when I get around to painting the front end.

Does anyone (K&E?) have a good source and prices for them? I will order them if I can. thanks!

My local glass shop is still looking. Their supplier was on vacation this week. They should know more Monday or Tuesday.

Their suppliers system showed 2 drivers side in Oklahoma...but when they checked further, they did not actually have them in stock (although they had the passenger side) They then were going to check their national supplier for them. That's when the vacation came into play...

Thanks K&E! The Guardian glass RV site just quoted me over $700 for both, installed. Seems way high. I figured about $200 each plus $100 for install. Actually, I'm just looking for the glass but they didn't break it down. If you (or anybody!) can do any better I'd really appreciate it. Apparently they are getting rare, so I'll take em if I can find em at any reasonable price. No rush, just thinking of repainting the front end eventually and replacing glass then.

I had a 54 Chev station wagon in the 80's and it took me a year to find the windshield. The wagon was 1 inch taller than the sedan window so it was very rare. Same thing for kingpins and caster pins. Some things do take time!

I was quoted $110 each and install can't be much more than that. At that kind of price, I was going to pick up a set myself and put up in the barn rafters....I'll let you know....

Steve, you seem to be saying they quoted you $350 each installed ($700 both) whereas you figured on $300 each installed. seems like an insignificant difference. If you meant they quoted you $700 EACH, it would be more what I expected from earlier related threads. I understood that the WS are available, unlike those for the early B which was only 14" high.

I figured $200 each plus $100 total install for $500 overall would be my top "reasonable" price. I saw some posts here from a couple years ago that were in the $400 total range. If K&E can get em for $110 each, I'll install them when I get around to it and save a bunch.

You're right 600-700 isn't that much different but if I can get em cheaper I'll buy something else for Barth. Maybe some fuzzy dice? Lift kit? or some cool flames for the side! (or maybe just a tank of gas!)

I had Novus repair guy fix two chips in my driver's side this week. Such repairs are covered w/o ded by my AAA policy. especially glad I did the worse of the two because crack lines were barely visible going up and down from the chip. The injected acrylic should stop them. looking forward to hearing the results of your search.

Mine aren't too bad but the edges are fogging and there are a few chips. I got a new rubber seal already, figured I'd swap glass when I paint. Hope I can find them.
