NOW I see where she could have gone wrong. You use the 4x diff to shift to nuetral thus isolating the tranny completely. Makes perfect sense, but a person could just shift the tranny to nuetral and think they were good to go. Thanks for the info. Not planning to tow anything bigger than my 14 foot jon boat with the Euro but I like to learn about these things. By the way, where did the term toad come from? Just a homonym for towed?
