Boy has this website turned into something beautiful. Bill, you have done a remarkable job. It has to be one of the easiest to navigate websites I visit. As an update, the 16 year old neighbor girl Rachel who originated the site for me, is now a journalist in Washington, DC writing for publications like the Washington Post, Scientific American, National Geographic and many others. Read about her here, http://readwriterachel.com/ She got married last year to a young man she grew up with named Chris Combs who is a photographer for National Geographic. They both grew up with my daughter who, (believe it or not) has a masters degree in Urdu from the University of Texas and works for the only place she could possibly work with that degree. She is a Dept. of Defense Analyst with the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency in Ft. Belvior, VA. So all of the kids who were mere children when this website started are now running the country in one way or the other.. I have to say I don't miss my Barth because I always recall the $1000.00 maintenance bill after every trip, however, I do remember with great fondness the many trips we took, down along the Mississippi River, around Lake Superior, even with a wheel bearing going out in Marathon, Ontario..smelly paper plant!!. I know none of you were probably at the rally we had in So. Minnesota. That was a lot of work, followed by even more fun...followed by BS from Lee Merriman. Is he still alive?? God bless you all and remember, "The is no living room picture window that compares with looking through a windshield while going around the next corner". God Bless Dave | ||
