Campers World in St. Augustine had 7 coaches on eBay yesterday - none sold - all were priced well above others' similar coaches - which also didn't sell. Well, it's three days later than my prior post, and eBay continues its unblemished record: Nothing with a reserve has sold (I'm tracking only diesel RVs and Class B+, like Roadtrek and Pleasureway)...one factor I find astonishing is 22K lb., 36' Class C+ coaches with the Duramax 6.6L TDs. Now that's a good engine, but 11 tons? And the tradition of wanting $150K (Buy It Now) for a coach with no details on anything (especially the chassis and drivetrain) and five photos continues... The tradition continues; in the past three days, the only diesel I saw that sold with a resrve was a Navion, a 24' on the Sprinter/Mercedes ensemble. Something strange has also revealed itself: 39' motorhomes (29K lbs.) are now being offered with the Cummins 6.7L TD; now this is no doubt a good engine, but pushing around 15T?; I have my doubts.
