jakeofmi2006 G.L.A.S.S. Rally
As a member of the Michigan Knights of the Highway, I would like to invite all members
of the forum to come to the 2006 GLASS Rally.
We expect about a thousand coaches. There will
about 100 new coaches displayed on the fairgrounds. This Rally has everything. See
attachment.

jakeofmiFinal call for 2006 GLASS Rally. This annual
rally is located in Berrien Springs, MI, fair
grounds on May 25-28, 2006. There 58 seminars
scheduled, and 14 Craft Classes scheduled. There
will be 80-100 new Motorhomes displayed, and
this year we requested the dealers and the
builders to bring coaches in the $100K-400K range,
not the $400K-800K like they did last year.
I just attended the April rally in St. Louis, MI,
this past weekend, and had great food and a great
time. I don't know how many GLASS rallys that they
have hosted, but they do a great job. I have also
been to about six FMCA rallys over the years.
Hope to see some of the Forum members there!!

jakeofmiThe 2006 GLASS Rally is over, and there were 3 Barths in attendance; Alex & Marie Pentland of Ann Arbor, the Secretary of the Barth Rangers
from Illinois, and myself. We had 899 family coaches, 62 Vendor coaches, and 88 Display Coaches from 11 RV Dealers, and good weather.
Members from 20 FMCA Chapters volunteered to make this 29th GLASS Rally a great success. There were 1612 meals served Friday night in a hour and a half time span. There were 88 vendors displaying in 2 large building. Incidentally, my 25' Barth looked like a pipsqueak among all the 35-45 giant diesel
coaches.
Maybe next year, more of you will consider coming to this Rally.
