w&bknockeFlorida dealer law
I have heard that in Florida , if a dealer makes a cash sale it is not final and binding until the unit is driven off the lot. Does anyone know if this is true?
Thanks

RustyI used to insure dealers in FL; AFAIK, the transfer of ownership, regardless of payment mode, occurs when the dealer signs the title (used) or MSO (new) and the new owner signs the Application for Title. I bought five cars from dealers (bought by them accompanied by me at auctions), and none every touched the dealer's lot. All were cash deals.
