I have heard that in Florida , if a dealer makes a cash sale it is not final and binding until the unit is driven off the lot. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks Wayne K Port Orange Fl P.S. the 93 Regency is still in Ocala and still over priced. | ||

I used to insure dealers in FL; AFAIK, the transfer of ownership, regardless of payment mode, occurs when the dealer signs the title (used) or MSO (new) and the new owner signs the Application for Title. I bought five cars from dealers (bought by them accompanied by me at auctions), and none every touched the dealer's lot. All were cash deals.
