Happily surprised. I was expecting less!
11.8 mpg Canadian or 9.9 US mpg over 624 miles between fillups. All of this towing the Tracker over the hills and dales of Northern Ont. Plus a wretched stop and go trek on the 401 thru Toronto last evening ... got to try out the Hadleys on a jerk in a BMW convert even. EH! EH!
The Barth was also parked out back behind the house Aug. 1-8th during our daughter's wedding week and used as an extra bedroom. The AC and generator was on most evenings to cool the coach down after a hot day, so some diesel was used then too. Without that we would have made 12 Canadian/10 US mpg I bet.
Took a week off for R&R golfing after the wedding and the Barth peformed great. Some friends and relatives who got to see the coach for the first time could not believe it is 17 years old.

Straight price, although I've thought of looking into trying to get some kind of a dicount card.
I haven't yet let it get below about 1/4 tank before filling up. A dead empty tank would take near 400 litres/100 US gal. If I see an easy in/out diesel stop and it's getting down towards 1/4 tank, I fill her up.
I read somewhere about a Flying J discount card.

In U.S. Flying J is pretty good. You get discount on fuel, propane and even on food. Free dumping, and parking As a retired trucker I think they treat RVs better then truckers.

Lots of places now giving fuel discounts. We use Flying J a lot and get the penny a gallon. In AK if Fred Myers will give 10 cents a gallon if you have bought $100 of stuff in the store.

Also our discover card give 5% back on fuel. This means in AK we were getting almost $.25 a gallon off.

Here in MN some of the fuel stations and grocery stores have gotten together to give $.05/gallon discount.
