O K does anyone know the how to remove a dash mounted ign switch, must be some kind of trick release.

Most of the time they use an outside collar that threads down on to cylinder pinching the dash panel inbetween

my friendly mechanic across the street always uses a paper clip to get mine out. There is a little bitty hole on the front of the switch and he just straightens out the clip and pokes it in the hole. Any mechanic should be able to assist you with this. Good luck.
