Danny ZLove bug time in Florida.
They're back. Coming home from Arcadia yesterday, a little 50 mile jaunt, covered the front of the Barth with these nasty little creatures. As soon as we were parked I grabbed the hose and my neighbor came over with a good car wash and a couple scrub gloves and we went to work. Luckily, I have a good coat of wax on her so she came clean pretty easy. They seem more prevalent inland, as we didn't notice any on the 10 mile stretch of I75 or near home, but cars that came to the bluegrass show from the north and south were covered. I'll try to get a pic posted after work so you can see what havoc these things wreak.

Duane88It has been a few years since I lived in Florida, but if memory serves, the love bugs like CO2, so intersections with stop signs or lights, and heavy traffic is a where they love to hang out!!
