The Zip-Dee awnings on my Breakaway have pivoted hooks that insert into eyes on the body to prevent any movement - simple and effective. The only issue I'v had with 'em is that one, fastened with pop rivets, was obstructed by the rivet stub. A bit with the Dremel, and that was taken care of.
