Hi Forum I saw this old Barth 25 sitting beside the road in SC and thought ya'll might like to see it. It's last inspection sticker on windshield was 93 and it's definitely been sitting for awhile.
If someone can guide me on how to decrease the size I have more I can post.

In order to save site space, we usually do not attach files directly into the post. We email them to Bill NY's photobucket account. In the post we then include the links to the photobucket images. This automatically takes care of sizing issues and saves site memory. Thumbs Up

Instructions here: https://www.barthmobile.com/eve...c&cdra=Y&m=308103241

include your site screen name as subject, i.e. stump

I've had no luck uploading images to a folder with my barthmobile user name. I believe that in order to do that, there has to be a folder created first on photobucket, and only an admin can do that. I just upload to "email" or "sightings" or some such existing folder.

Also, the link in the instructions is no longer valid. It's listed further down in the thread, but the instructions look so official, I didn't read down the first few times I tried to upload pics. You have to go to photobucket.com/barthmobile to see the photos you upload.

Quinn, you are correct, I believe. Frowner
The folder must already be created for you since it is Bill NY's account. Instructions are out of date. Bill has not been staying current, unfortunately. I am trying to get permission to help but so far we have not worked this out.

Meanwhile, you are welcome to use my "SteveVW" folder to put images where you can find them. Thumbs Up

Can I no longer just post pix from my own Photobucket account? Haven't tried lately but from what I'm reading here I have to put it in Barthmobile's PB account and post from there.

You can still use whatever account you want. It doesn't have to be the Barth PB account…

HOWEVER… In the past when the Barth PB link was not used, some photos have been lost from our archives because the individual did not keep their PB account active. All we get here then is a dead link.

To avoid loss of links, it has been encouraged to use the Barth PB account for site photos so they can never be lost or disconnected from our archives.

As long as you are sure your photos will be accessible it doesn't really matter where they are.
The PB site has become slower and more cumbersome lately, I am not surprised that many find it a PITA and don't post pics, sadly.

This is why I offered the quick instructions above. If folks want to email pics to me, I can do PB for them. Hate to lose good archives, they are one of the best things about this site.
