I realized that I was missing peoples posts because I was going directly to the last post that was shown in the right column. If there were three posts between the last time I logged on and and the last post I may not have ever seen them if I went straight to the most recent post. By doing it this way one will always see the list of posts.

All in the name of serendipity...

Yes, but if you had clicked on the left, you wouldn't have missed anything. Now, when the front page comes up, the time and author of the last post is not displayed as before.

My vote is to go back to the old new way. It took a computer illiterate like me a minute to figure it out, but once I did it was a breeze. The number one advantage was being able to see at a glance if a new post was up in any of the forums. OK, Now I go back and things are the same. Dave's messin with me!!

I think I have the answer for you Dave. Click on this link or add it to the header as a link on the barthmobile.com/eve page.

New Since Last Visit

That link will allow you and every member to see new postings since there individual last visit. If it's added as a link on the header then nothing changes for the diehard's and it's giving extra functionality to every member.

If your not a member then it won't work.

If you click on "Find" on the header, "New since last visit" will appear.
