I think some of youse guys are in the WI/MN area.

If I were to come to WI/MN before heading back South, what area would be recommended?

My preferences:
Federal camping area so I can use Golden Age.
NP, NFS, BLM, etc., boondocking (electric not required)

NO commercial CGs.

There are a couple of corp of Engineer campgrounds and some NF up north. Not quite like AZ as most land here is under private ownership.

There are a number of Passport America campgrounds also. I know they are commercial.

We are back in the Twin City area for a month.
