This remote cam follows the progress of a brood of peregrine falcons from hatch to fledging. Last week they were just starting to have some color rather than being white puff balls. http://www.ameren.com/FalconWa...Pages/FalconCam.html

Pretty nifty......I have forwarded the site to my friends who are bird watchers. We halted construction on our porch because a pair of house finches set up housekeeping. We followed the chicks from hatchlings to perfectly-formed little flyers. Well, almost perfectly-formed. Their wing feathers are a little short yet. It would have been nice to have a remote cam like this site. We have left a couple stages of scaffolding in place for them to use as a jungle gym for flying lesson take off and landing. Had to herd a snake away several times, as it was lurking beneath. Snakes climb trees, but this one didn't try the porch post or the scaffolding. Every morning now is like an air show, with the little ones flying all over right outside our Barth as they gain more confidence in the air. . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered
