Hello. I recently purchased a 1991 28' Breakaway with a 160 HP Cummins diesel. Can anyone advise me about up-grading the engine so I might better pull a small(light weight) car? Thanks, Sniboy

Banks www.bankspower.com makes some upgrades for the 5.9L Turbo, however, they only list motorhomes from 1992. The have truck upgrades from 1991 http://www.bankspower.com/app.cfm?appid=AD03

I would give them a call 800.601.8072 perhaps one of our diesel experts can share some other companies that provide HP and Torque upgrades.

Check out BD Power and Bully Dog. BD makes higher flow injectors and modified turbo housings for mechanical injection diesels.
