Just because it is so completely different than last year and sooooo enjoyable, I thought I would let ya all know that it is almost 40 degrees in Aberdeen, SD today. And not a single flake of snow. Haven't even thought about Florida,Arizona or California to much this year.....yet! Big Grin

Gerald, How's the pheasant hunting this year. I use to come to Aberdeen each year for the hunting. Might add, coldest I've ever been in my life. Bought a german shorthair pointer one year. Named her Dakota. Smiler

Hey Nick, one of my hunting buddies has a german short hair... they are a great dog! I didn't get out as much as usual this year, but we still got our limits when we did. Took a lot longer and had to work a lot harder though. The snowfall over the last 3 winters plus all the water and flooding of lowlands and nesting areas in the spring have taken a toll on the pheasant population. Hopefully this winter will not be so tough on them. If ya ever get the urge to try it again let me know. I have graduated from walking the fields to blocking the ends Smiler

After a week in the teens, we hit 45 today. Still no snow here either. Too bad!

Picked up new washer and dryer, moved chest freezer from (the basement!) downstate to here, picked up and stacked 5 cords of firewood, and dropped and cut up a 50 ft pine blocking Barth's parking place, all in the last week! My back hurts, elbows, hands, knees... heck, my hair hurts! (and I gotta lotta hair!)

I will take Barth for a ride soon and then park it by the house under a tarp for now...sad.

Gerald: what a handsome coach you have! great paint scheme! Smiler
