does anyone know of any mechanics who understand and are willing to work on Barth Motorhomes? I am cool with a mobile mechanic, just as long as they know what they're doing and are honest. Looking for one in Southern California, I am having smog issues (look into my other thread) and overheating issue. Thank you | |||

Hi! For the truck portion of the Barth, a good truck mechanic would be enough. For the engine portion, probably some "old school" car mechanics who remember how carburetors and mechanical distributors work is what you need. For the "RV" parts, like the heater, water pumps, generator, 12V system, electric isolator, propane, you need a specialist for that. Or keep asking us questions, and we can coach you! What is the overheating issue? That could range from something simple and easy to fix, to "scary" if the overheating went too far. Good Luck!
