How do you know what model you have when you have a older coach like mine? It is a 79 on the chevy chassis. Thanks Richard Richard & Robin

I don't think model names appeared until later. The 79 brochure in the Barth CD just calls them Barths, with note of the 30T and 34T models having additional standard equipment. They didn't even get called SEs until later. NADA shows the 82 MCC as the first named model, with the others being Barths. 83 shows a Regency and Barths. 84 shows Regency, Regal and the Royale. I should make the distinction, however, that the MCC was not exactly a model name. The chassis and body shell were made by Motor Coach Corporation in California, and Barth completed the interior. A year or two later, the MCC chassis sported a body by Barth, and was called and labeled a Barth Regency 35. It would be intresting to see a data tag for an MCC. Or even see an MCC period. The closest I have come is to see the later 35 Regencies on MCC chassis. . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered | |||
