Tool Man TBarth Newbie looking for info and Advice
Mogan, I have to confess that I'm rather poor when it comes to adding links, sorry. Take a look at page 2 in the Barth coaches for sale forum and you will find it.
I remembered reading about this coach a long time ago. It's also in the data tag project.
When I saw the photo GaMike posted and the location he mentioned it rang a bell (poor computer skills but good memory) so I started hunting and found it. I called Mike and we checked the VIN# with what he had and bingo. Bill NY had uploaded a bunch of nice photos for the PO also and they are still here. I found them when I clicked on the model name in the D T project

GaMikeYes apparently my coach is no stranger to the site Mr Tool Man T found it under the member name Texifornia. They donated and I bought from the charity. I agree they appear to to very well made coaches and from what I read as well. I have gotten burned by a couple stick and staple RVs with rotted out roofs. Still waiting to hear from shop on further condition after fuel and filter change.
Thanks everyone for you help and support, will keep you posted.

GaMikeHello Barth Family,
Well its a sad day in my Barth world, the shop call today and said Betsy's motor has bit the dust with big hole in the bottom of the motor. Needless to say this is beyond my skill and means. If anyone looking for a great deal on a Barth that needs a new heart beat let me know

OH OH !
What a shame. Replacing engine will exceed value of running coach

must have been towed to the charity's storage site

I suppose you got it for a great price. So, you can part it out and $crap the aluminum. I looked at one, with the same engine blown, here in South Central Michigan. It was to have the same such a fate.

RustySadly, there seems to be no market for the MCC Regencies with a bad engine. IMHO, your best choice is to have a crate engine installed and sell it running. That said, jim&barb's excellent Regency with the upgraded engine has not yet sold, AFAIK.

Tool Man TMike, Sorry to hear the bad news.

I was hoping you had lucked out. Even if the heart is gone you should still list it in the For Sale forum. Some one Who is mechanically inclined may want a project to work on. If my memory serves me correctly it wont be the first one posted needing an engine.
Wish you all the best.
