But if you change that hinge we will not know when you open the door. ROTFLMAO

Tom: Please don't repair the door hinge.I can hear the squeak all the way from Kentucky to
Tennessee. It's being used as my alarm clock......

You guys are a hoot. How about I keep the old one to use during GTG's. Tom

When you get to scraping the body I could use anough aluminum sheet to replace the windshield side pillars. I would need two pieces about 1ft X 3ft.

Tom,
Checked the hinges on my '89 Regency and the the '78. Completely different. The troops won't have to worry about not hearing the old ones.
Herb Johns

Neil,
Should be able to get the aluminum off the left rear. Not being an aluminum craftsman, what's the best way to cut it out?
Herb

Thanks for the look, it would have been fun to have a hinge off my namesakes coach. Well Carl and Betty you can still use me for an alarm clock. I may even give you the long verson. Nick it will be one way to count how many beers I've had. Tom

Herb, Not sure what tools you have but I think a Jig saw with a metal blade would work.

Neil,
Most of my tools live at my son's home these days so I'll get over there and see what I can find and do a little surgery on Barth. It'll be easier to cut into it now that I've got the '89 home...

Richard,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Been a long month or two. I have the headlight assemblies out. On the passenger side the outboard pot(?) holding the light is badly rusted. The others appear OK. Anything else, just let me know and I'll get it off if I can. Shipped the wiper motors and switches to DannyZ a week or two ago and the shipping wasn't too bad. Plan to have what's left taken away next week.

Waiting for Suzie to get home with the wiper motors, they were here when she got back to work today. Could have used them yesterday coming through scattered showers pretty much all of Florida, but it wasn't too bad. Probably won't turn any wrenches till Saturday morning, but I'll get you a check as soon as I know everything's OK. Thanks again!

Richard,
Both would have to be re-chromed.
