We're starting to feel the effects of Rita but I think it will be minimal for us. Our friends in Naples and perhaps as far north as Ft. Myers will get a good whipping from it but should come through OK. The real threat will be to Texas, or should it move north a little, to the area already devistated by Katrina. If anyone is effected and needs anything, don't be shy. I know I join a bunch of Barthers in offering anything we can.

My wretched little Class C (I really shouldn't denigrate it, since it serves me well) is in MS, substituting in its humble little way for the 2800 sq ft house, belonging to a friend, wrecked by Katrina.

I don't need it until the end of October, so it might as well sit in his yard as mine...

If I had a Barth, I might not have been so eager to loan it.
