Since everyone is having so much fun talking about SOB'S today, I thought you might like a link to a very different RV. It may not have the class of a Barth but you always use it as control tower at your local airport

At the Barrett-Jackson auction there is a 1950 GM Futurliner that will sell this weekend, lot #1307, one of only 3 left out of 12 that were built. would make a neat looking conversion if you had the money.....then you just need a cool toad to go with it. Maybe the Pontiac concept car lot #1304 would work, just need to repaint it! I think the car is gonna go for Big Bucks like the Olds went for last year.....wouldn't surprise me if it went to the same place either.

Hey Dave...

That "NAVETTE" was at Pleasure Land near St. Cloud. I actually drove that thing! It would be a fun vehicle to completly refurbish, but I had diesel pushers on the brain.

...that "GM" has a very cool, retro interior!

Wow.... the Futurlner went for 4.1 million. I figured at least 500,000 to maybe 1 million and maybe a little more but never would have thought it would go for 2 million or more. Hmmmm i wonder how much it would cost to do a face lift on my bus.......
