My house is too big. But I'm still lacking garage space.

Question:
Would you give up your master bedroom for another garage?

Choices:
Thats just stupid.
You must be a redneck.
Now your a car guy.

I might consider it if I didn't already have a 5000sq ft building and a 2400sq ft building in addition to the 2 1/2 car attached.... mechanic

No need to get radical here, if choices 2 and 3 apply! No reason to lose a bedroom... you just combine the two.

If you get tired working on the cars, you can sleep. Always close to the things you love, (well, assuming you can talk your wife into staying there.. ) There's even the "master" bathroom!

If your coach is in there, well there you go, beds and all. No more working in the cold garage for you.

So where's the downside, eh?

Sell the house and the garage and do what my son-in-law did--build a big garage with a nice apartment for two in one end of it. Tere and I now live in that apartment. (I laid it out in the first place). Works fine for retired people.

My High School French teacher had a Bugatti in his living room. Along with dogbeds for his two Irish Wolfhounds. Personally I just gave up on hardwood floors in our house and Marvin and I got us a second Jaguar XJS V12 (the first one was soo lonely). Five cars, one Barth, one SOB pull-behind (my dad's), one semi truck. Oh yeah, one Puch moped and three bicycles.

NOooooo, the Jags are not allowed in the house, as much as I love them they are not housetrained and old Hess' cousins burnt down one too many Country Clubs. Not to mention the fuel leak on her tank (it is fixed now). So they sleep in the barn. On a second thought that house garage is a BAD idea, fires and carbon monoxide.

Wow 75% in favor.
The significate other agrees. This could happen some day. There is plenty of room in house to build another master suite.
