I had to glue and clamp two of the hardwood cabinet doors in the Euro, but otherwise the cabinet work looks good. I'm wondering if any particular product is prefered to polish up all this beautiful hardwood. It's way too nice to consider stripping and refinishing, but it's a tad dull and I'm sure it could look nicer without a ton of work and money.

You can strip the grease and dirt off with denatured alcohol. Then remove the doors and spray with polyurethane. Most cabinets have a semi-gloss finish. Wear a respirator.

Spraying works well on the doors, but you should do both the doors and the cabinet surfaces to achieve and even appearance overall. If you are careful and use a good brush, you'll achieve very satisfactory results on the cabinets as well. A mild detergent like ivory soap dish washing detergent in a weak solution in water can also clean quite well and is not as strong an aromatic as alcohol. apply the water sparingly and wipe clean and dry as you go.

I cleaned and refinished the table top on the cabinet behind the passenger seat. It came our very nice.

Spent a worthwhile amount of time last night trying out regular old lemon polish and it came out great. Maybe I'll get a bug and go further with this, but for right now I'm satisfied. I sure appreciate all the input, and to Bill and Georgene, what a fabulous coach!! Danny Z
