Down at the bottom of the page you will see a little drop down menu entitled archives.

What we can do here, is provide a ready reference to important threads which have a similar subject. You can see what I have done with 454 overheating.

I need suggestions for archive topics that you think people with want ready access to. This indeed may be something that you are interested in and have to come back and refind it everytime. When you make the suggestion for the archive it would help if you would copy to the post the address of the most important posts that that archive should reference.

I have to set them up on my end though, so don't hesitate to make suggestions for valuable archives to be added.

Thanks,

Dave

My first thought on archive classification was "great" but then I started to list posible classifications for all the information already on hand and soon realized that the classified headings were many and information often fit under multiple headings. Probably the "word search" tool will remain the best way to retrieve information.

Hi Gary,

I absolutely agree. It would be possible for it to become another forum on it's own. I was thinking of specific data which quick reference would be handy.

Perhaps the value or non-value will be shown over time.

Thanks for the input.

Dave

Hi Don,

Go the the front page of the forum and down to archives. I just searched the site and placed all of the most appropriate posts in that archive marked windshields.

Dave - Two more ideas for archive items 1) replacing headliners, and 2) locks for outside storage doors.

Here's a question and possibly a topic. My side-door step is a rickety piece of crap totally out of character with the rest of the Euro. What am I getting into replacing it with a good easy manual or even a power step?

Jack has to have one of the coolest logos around. Looks like Ricky Rudd at Watkins Glen.

Looking for the thread on the male 2 male plug. I am very interested in the proper procedures of such an endeavor.

While back feeding thru the system is it ok to fire up the generator to power up one leg of my house in the event of a power outage? If I fired up my second generator and added another male 2 male plug to the other leg would that give me 240 volts?

I would bet that I needed to turn off my main to do this.

Where do the little circus people come into this and how does the treadmill item thingy work?

We need a post for off the wall subjects for sure!

Bill - Hear! Hear! I also need a refresher on the "dark sucker theory." That surely is a subject that needs to be brought to light.

Roy, I am continually burning the midnight oil, er midnight dark sucker, in ongoing research in this area.

A quick and simple refresher is the example of a candle, a rather primitive dark sucker. They all start out with white wicks, which slowly turn black as they absorb the dark.

If you are familiar with photon theory, just reverse the polarity of your thinking and the dark sucker theory is very simple to understand. As an example, think of gravity. Do we believe a force is pushing down on us or does the Earth suck? If you believe that the Earth is pulling us downward (sucking), then that polarity of thinking must apply to light and darkness. I am in close communication and collaboration with Steven Hawking in his black hole theory. He has recently declared that his previously accepted premise that nothing can escape from a black hole was incorrect. I have assured him that the only time he has been wrong was when he thought he was wrong and wasn't. I explained this to him in "polarity of thinking" terms. He informed me that there was indeed a polarity problem, but was most likely a crossed wire at my end, not his. Perhaps I need to run a virus scan on my Windows 3.1

Unfortunately, the word search tool does not always work. It will pick up some words and not others. That has frustrated me a lot.

Another limitation is the search will only pick up 200 posts.
