Same to you and all!

We drove 350 miles through the UP to visit Dad for Thanksgiving dinner. Sister and her husband too. Dad will be 93 in a week. He is doing well.

Given the predicted winter storm, we had decided to drive there on Wednesday and have our family dinner then. We drove home today. It was a wise decision. We got home just as the snow came down. They are calling for a foot.

So, among many other things, I am thankful we are all doing well, we had good meal together and we missed the snowy drive.

PS. (12/02) When we left there was no snow on the ground. Six inches Friday, a foot on Saturday and another foot Sunday. More on the way! confusion

Monday morning. This was Sunday night snow. The truck and drive were clear last night.

The warm summer heated Lake Michigan. With the frigid air coming in from the NW we are getting enhanced lake effect snow. At some times it comes down an inch an hour!

I guess you could say the Barth is truly winterized now. Not going anywhere this winter! I am sure it wishes to be in Florida, I sure do!

We had our weekly ten minute dose of sunshine...

It's been cool down here the last few days. 52 this morning, but sunshine and 70 all day. We'll take it.
