I see some words inside the latch - looks like a patent number - can you tell us what it says inside of there?

Bill, thanks for the info. I finally figured out that I was a little dumb, as the name was right on the key - "Trimark.

I did get hold of them and am having the part I need overnight-ed to me.

Why don't you post the information here so if someone else is looking for that it will be saved on this site. Website - part number - phone number - mailing address, cost, etc...

Will do, Bill.

The trimark website at
http://www.trimarkcorp.com/contactus.aspx
has the following info for parts contact:

TriMark Service & Replacement Parts
510 Bailey Avenue
PO Box 350
New Hampton, IA 50659
Toll Free: 1-800-431-8616
Fax: 1-641-394-1515
Email:trimarkparts@trimarkcorp.com

My "latch/lock" assembly was fine. What I needed was the "finger" on the internal end of the latch shaft, which I discovered Trimak calls a "cam". I could not find the cam as a part on their web site, but a very friendly and helpful lady is shipping me three (2 spares) overnight, since I am on the road.

The cams only cost about $2.00, but the overnight shipping will bump up the cost a lot. Come to think of it, I think she said there is a minimum charge of $10.00, so I could have gotten 4 or 5. Oh well.
