Does anyone have information regarding the Breakaway for sale on ebay? I'm still looking.

Could you be a little more specific? What eBay item (post a link here) and what questions do you have?

In the ad they refer to Barthmobile as a reference, so are you a member or visitor?

I don't think we have that coach listed on the data tag project but we do have a VIN that is one number prior to that chassis.

I go through York a couple of times a year - wish I'd have known about it in APR or AUG. I could have met the owners.

Listing shows York but the link says it is in Palm Bay, FL.
Spent most of 2001 in York near the fairgrounds, stayed at the Yorktowne Hotel. Interesting town

Yes, that's the one. There's about a day left for the auction. I've been looking at Barths for a few months, but my general problem is that I've never had a motorhome before and I don't know what I'm looking at and whether its a reasonable price. Any suggestions are welcome. Also, I can't find descriptions for the different coaches- ie-breakaway vs. regencey vs. monarch. Thank you for any help.

Of course everyone here will say that Barth's are great coaches, but it sounds like you need to do a lot more RV research before deciding what to buy. Your planned uses, budget, and mechanic abilities will all determine what's best for you.

This is a great forum for RV information, but you might want to consider checking out a more general database such as RVforum.net (where I also happen to be one of the Administrators Wink) to learn some of the finer parts of owning an RV and what to expect when you buy.

You can check some of the past posts on this forum also. You would be hard pressed to come up with a question that hasn't been asked and answered here. Good luck and be patient.
