Today I was online reading about Florida State Parks and National Parks in Florida. not much in the way of discounts for non-residents. But, seniors can get a worthwhile discount at National Parks and National Forests.

I have the America the Beautiful Senior Pass and it has paid back the $10.00 fee many times over.

Used it many times when my brother and I went to the Grand Canyon last June. It allowed us free entry to the Grand Canyon and a good discount on the campground that we stayed at.

A Passport America card can pay for itself the first time you use it. 1/2 off the regular price in the parks that honor it. A lot of times even though it says in the book or online that a certain park may only let you use it during certain days or times of the year or only for a certain number of days, if you ask at the park you may find you can stay much longer. This year we stayed at a park that it said only would let you stay for one nite at the PPA rate, talked to them and they said we could stay for a month if we wanted.
