I have a copy of a Texas coach price sheet for a 1990 32' Regency that Bill H posted. Is there one of these floating around in cyber space for a 1990 38' Regency on a Gillig chassis with a 300 HP 3208TA Cat diesel? Anything closer than the one for a 32'? Are there any of these for other year and model Barth's? I'm sure there are other Barth owners that would like one.

"Texas coach price sheet for a 1990 32'..." Be more specific on what you want, please. Is it a list of equipment on the coach? And what is the "Texas" reference? "You are what you drive" - Clint Eastwood

I think it's in reference to Texas RV in Waco. They were a dealer that sold Barth and Newell. They were the dealer who sold our Regency to Chester and Evelyn Baggs of Carlsbad New Mexico in May 1990. They listed the price of a 32' Regency as $215K for a Cat 250/Gillig coach. "I think it's in reference to Texas RV in Waco." Aahhh. Coincidentally, I bought my first ('86 Regal) Barth from that dealer - a very good businessman. "You are what you drive" - Clint Eastwood

Yes, that's correct, it's a dealership and I mistakenly put Texas coach instead of Texas RV. The 32' Regency Don referenced is what I have a copy of. I'd love to get one for a 38' if it exists.

"...referenced is what I have a copy of. I'd love to get one for a 38' if it exists." You are asking for a "Price List"; if you are referring to a list of standard items (e.g. Dometic refrigerator) plus a list of optional items (e.g. Dometic side-by-side) Dave has a 4-page list from 1996 that was published here several years ago, but there were no prices on them. When Barth HAD "Dealers" there may have been "price lists" but during most of the 90s I don't think there were any -or at least not many- "Dealers". As with most of the Motor Coach industry, the "published price" had no connection with actual selling price. When I ordered mine the Barth factory told me I could accurately figure $15,000 per lineal foot over the price of a 32' (for a 34' instead of a 32' add $30.000). Uninteresting memory: ca 1995 Foretravel offered me a price $84,000 below the asking price on a new coach. "You are what you drive" - Clint Eastwood

Hi Gunner, I know what you mean about MSRP and actual selling price. My father purchased a new 1997 39' Allegro Bus and, although the Denver dealer was unwilling to negotiate, I got him a deal from an Alabama dealership that was $79,000 lower than the MSRP. If I remember correctly, the Denver dealer was $12K higher. As far as my Barth, I'd like find anything concerning a 1990 38' Regency whether it be a price list or original brochure. I recently found original brochures on eBay for 1970 and 1974 Barth models but they didn't have anything else...yet. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't 1990 but close to that would be nice.

Hey Sky, I'd love to have info like that for our Stagecoach. Can I assume the "RDG" stands for Regency, Diesel, Gillig making mine a 38RDG? What does the -B1 stand for? Ours has most of the same options on it, awnings, wide body, corian, plank floor and tile in bath. I'm not sure about tires or the TV. We also have the rear automotive A/C and a 8KW genset but things such as furnaces, roof A/C's, leather seating. I know there are other items but I'm not sure what was standard and what was optional. I don't know what the base price would have been and what the final MSRP price was. I had been told this coach had a MSRP of $380K new but I just can't see it rising to that level. I have seen a floorplan for the 38RDG but it was a center aisle instead of one like our side aisle. You have a really nice looking coach, ours is the same color scheme.

Sky, that's a handsome coach. I believe silver and black is the nicest combination I have seen on a Barth. It would sure look good towing my silver and black ski Eliminator. I see a line separating the driver/pass area from the living room. Does that mean the front area is elevated? If so, by how much? Does the pass seat rotate around to face the table? . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered

The co-pilot seat, if it is like mine and I believe it is, rotates around to face the rear. The rise in the floor is about 3" although I can't measure it at the moment since the Stagecoach is in for service. My coach also has a raised floor where the front barrel chair goes. This chair is located directly behind the co-pilot seat and that section of floor is raised to allow for the filler neck to the fuel tank. I don't know if the 32RDG has that part of the floor raised or not.

Bill and bill h, the build sheet on mine says the driver and co-pilot seats were origionally to be leathertouch and color putty st 100fr, same for dash and overhead. I just recently had the jacknife sofa, recliner and captains chairs covered in all leather. Co-pilot chair rotates 180 deg for use of table. The driver chair will rotate 90 deg because of steering wheel and sofa. There is about a 2 3/4 inch step up from the main floor to the driver compartment. LOL Bill h. i bought a 2006 red wrangler with black hard top toad for it last year and put the m&g air brake and blue ox tow bar system. Have had great success with the toad and enjoy being with out a top at times and 4 wheeling. The paint scheme, according to build sheet, was silver anniversary. The tire upcharge were for michelin 255/80R XZU 22.5 low profile tires. I have another 1990 regency a fellow owner had and he had the original sales contract of his coach, the selling price was a little over $200,000.00. IT was bought in Savannah Ga. by a member of the Dupont family, i belive. The previous owner of my coach had a prosine 3000 watt pure sine wave inverter charger installed. Here is a link to the album of my coach before i had the upsholstery done and the laminate flooring the lr. http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=4286082001&idx=1 sky 1990 Barth Regency 32RDGB1 Wide Body 3208 Cat 250 HP Gillig Chassis Center aisle
