My '88 Regal has the std queen in the back and a couch bed up front. When extended this couch makes a mighty small double bed I find it only good for kids or a single adult. I've attempted to make a rig to hold a queen air mattress but this is a jerry rig at best.. Has anyone found a creative way to sleep to adults up front other than sleeping bags on the floor.

I ripped 2x4's in half and used an 18" piece of waferboard lined with foam to fashion an extension for the couch. I let on side rest on the couch and have three legs that screw into the corridor side. By placing an inflatable queen sized mattress ontop of the board and the couch, I have a nice queen sized bed. I'll send you pics and measurements if you want. It stored underneath the couch.
