You know I'm in Ken. Bet we can get Medic and Tonka as we are all near by in the grand scheme of things. Do you have a spot in mind?

If we end up having to miss the Black Hills GTG because of work, we'll really be up for a Minnesota one. August should work.

Who knows, by then I may be wandering around in the pasture just looking for an adventure. Smiler

We are not sure yet. Do any of you have any ideas? August would be great for us for a gathering. Give me your thoughts

Just pick a spot and check for openings. You know we Minnesnowtans like to camp. Finding a place with openings if we try for lake or State Park that could be tough. If we want to get together to visit compare, learn then almost anywhere quiet will work. The casino's usually have good facilities and are in nice areas. I stay at the Casino at Vermillion because of their marina for my fishing boat. All you can do is pick a spot and date and let the chips fall where they may.

I'm not a gambler just know they are accessible with this much notice. Treasure island has a great area near Red Wing. Just check some places on the internet. We are all ready to Get together.

I'm short on help at work trying to get folks hired so I can get away.

We can dry camp a few days no problem. Nothing fancy, it's all about the Barth people!

Unfortunately, my wife has conflicts the weekends of the 10th and 24th... (never know I might still go!) ROTFLMAO

Hi everyone,

We've only stayed at four places in MN. Cass Lake, Grand Marais, Duluth and Pipestone.

Finding short notice spots before Labor Day at Cass Lake and Grand Marais is very unlikely. There's a camp ground west of Duluth that was more of an overnight stopping place that might have spots.

We've been to a small campground at Pipestone within walking distance of the Pipestone National Monument twice and got in both times in August on short notice.

It might work if we are looking at four or five Barths. I'm swamped at work trying to catch up to a tough deadline but my better half can make some calls.

Thanks,
Wally

Audreys still has an Aunt in Rochester and we do the River road when we visit her. This year is out for us but if you have fun and want to do it in the future count us in. Alaska calls this summer. All who wander are not lost.

My executive secretary (LYNN) informed me I am at Leech Lake August 1st thru the 7th for Musky Fishing before she goes back to work. Sorry I am limited by work still. Weekends are tough because of my Career being retail. Weekends are our bread and Butter. I hope to have people hired to work for me by then.

Lynn is looking at campgrounds that we can use. She has been given the opportunity to apply for her position for her full time career. She is applying for other options also. No stress in our house!

Have hosted a large number of RV rallies in MN. My favorite is Dakota county by the MN zoo.

Another easier to get into would be Treasure Island Casino campground.

Any day of the week is fine with me. I will offer any assistance I can to Lynn or whoever takes charge.
