We all had a great time!

I'm currently in the Twin Oaks RV park in Elko, GA (just south of Perry). It's a very nice, well-kept park.

The drive here, while uneventful, was unpleasant, with a nasty headwind... Mad

Hello Everyone,
I am at Twin Creek RV Resort in Gatlinburg or just outside. Nice clean small park right at the foot of the Smoky Mountains.

Thanks to all for such a warm welcome. I had a great time and would be glad to meet there again. Or anywhere Cool

I learned so much about Barths on this trip. That alone made it worth going. The scenery was beautiful as was the ride to here. good people and good times.

Three days here and off to Louisville for three more before going home..

Terri, please email me those photos of my engine. Sounds like a big help. Glad you discovered and reported the cracked ac bracket. Not a big problem and will fix it when I get home by ripping it all out!!!

Thanks again everyone. Travel safe.

Rick

Back home, great shake down trip for Classie. Great time seeing everyone. Just over 1000 mile on trip. Just under 10 MPG. not bad for running 65+ most the trip and in the hills of KY. and TN.

Doorman,

Nice meeting you. "Classie", nice choice. I'm going to name mine the "SilverSlug." Already have a design worked out.

I don't know how far I will travel on this trip & don't care about the gas milage Superman .

I ran into an "Airstreamer" in Gatlinsburg. Nice family. Also had a trailer. Airstream chevy P30 w/454 The coach was 31' and nicely appointed.

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palms of His hand. Tooling Along
