I'm doing bacon wrapped shrimp for saturnight, and if there is some rawyersters available, I'll fire up the grill and do a little grilling for those who don't like em raw. What night are you thinking about for them?

Scratch the brisket, cannot fit our smoker on the bumper carrier (bicycles) and on a second thought tending a piece of cow for 10 hrs instead of socializing is not that appealing. Bringing a spiral ham instead. Not frozen this time, also will keep an eye on the fridge setting, Marvins "beer cave setting" did not let it unthaw in 2 days and froze the lettuce. My appologies to Nancy for putting her through all that trouble in Milford in May trying to get that ham ready. I still feel bad about it. Doris

Finally getting close enough for some weather forcasts. Through the week highs around 80 and lows in the mid 50s. Looks like a weak front coming through Wednesday might drop a little rain and the temps might drop to the 70's, but should be clear and warm for the weekend.

Hey we could be in Lake Tahoe with 4 feet of snow. Fixing to do the Watermelon 500 (Atlanta) and heading south for Turkey Day. Anyone hanging around N FL between Sunday and Wednesday?

Easy crossover from US 301 to I-75 at SR 326 just N of Ocala.

You can take 301 all the way, but trust me, you don't want to...

True that Rusty! 75 from Ocala to Tampa is a pretty nice road, one of the more relaxing stretches of 75.
Getting to the park, from the north you'll see an entrance with a building right behind it. This ISN'T the park entrance. Keep going another 1/4 mile or so to the entrance.
From both directions, have the navigator watching for the small brown sign saying State Park entrance 1000 feet. There is a widening for left turn lane at the entrance. I don't meen to scare anybody, but if you're booking along it's not hard to be past it before you can get her whoad down.

Thank you Rusty and Danny. I think I have been on 326 before but from the other side. Gets you out by the Petro Truck Stop on 75?

There's a large truck stop about 1/4 mi. east of I-75, but IIRC, it's not Petro. That Petro stop is 10 miles N on SR 318.

However, if you skirt Gainesville (SR 24 at Waldo, goes into SR 331, into SR 121 just before exit 382 I-75). This is just north of the rest area where I'm joining up with Stinky Daddy and Mary Ray at 1 PM Weds 12/2, in case you are delayed.
