Here's a proposition for anyone that has a toad at the gathering.

I'm coming into BWI on Southwest at 6:35 tonight (Thursday). If someone wanted to bring my wife and your partner to pick me up, dinner is on me at a nice restaurant on the way.

Just be the first to commit by post and we have a deal.

Corey

Barth's should be carried ... not towed. Smiler

Our tow company had a rig the size of the one that towed Mary's but there was too much "stuff" in the way to reach a safe attachment point so they sent the carrier. Definately a better way to go although they did have to take an alternate route to avoid a low overpass. Also ... make sure that if you are to be carried that the tow company has an 8'-10' "sports car extension" to avoid dragging the tail end during the load/unload. Our guys did not. They used a series of "sticks" to get the additional height, a time-consuming and less than satisfactory solution.

I noticed the lack of awnings too, but I'm guessing it was the wind. Lee said high winds were expected today, and savvy Barthers know not to take chances with awnings.
I did notice a pretty fair congregation down at the end of the road. Eye-opener central perhaps? cheers

Hi Everyone! Due to circumstances beyond our control Diane and I will be unable to make it to the rally. We feel terrible about this and hope everyone has a great time.

As always if anyone needs a place in Maine either while passing through or staying for a while let us know. We have room for a whole rally in our back yard and full hookups for one.

Have a great weekend and a great rally.

No worries, Jeff. It's all part of owning a Barth ... as is learning how to become a diesel mechanic, an RV plumber, an automotive electrician and body repair person. As a desk jockey, this was a whole new experience for me but one I am thoroughly enjoying, thanks to the helpful folks on Barthmobile.com.

We're trying to get there. The transmission in my truck has been slipping for some time, so I'm not comfortable towing the trailer with it. I've rented a F250 for the weekend. I have it hooked up and my lights are not working. They were working fine with my truck. Any suggestions?
